Peace. Love. Human Dignity.
Kedar – It means Blessing of Grace. Ji is a term of affection. Sadguru means true Guru. Guru – one who shows you the darkness of your own ignorance, while liberating your from it, by the power of Grace.
For Self-realized beings to share their experience of the final attainment is like a gardener who has discovered an incredible garden paradise that he never imagined could be cultivated, because it was discovered. It’s always been there in all its glory. It is like a chef trying to describe a taste that cannot be compared to any other dish, but must be shared anyway, out of spontaneous delight.
Kedarji has led a very full existence here, in which he has played many roles, from professional stage/screen actor to healing practitioner to business owner to professional musician to community organizer. He was raised in the Catholic and Christian religious traditions before keeping the company of Self-realized Love Beings in the East, where he also found his Guru.
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right-doing there is a field. I’ll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to talk about.”
He has made great use of these roles by including what he has learned from playing them in how he now leads people to the ongoing experience of the highest Intelligence possible – The Abode of The Heart. In addition to the Blessing and Grace of his Master, these roles have been useful in preparing him for the role he has now taken up. In this way, although part of a great lineage of Sages dating back to the pre-bronze age, Sadguru Kedarji refuses to be placed in a box or defined in just one way. He uses every God-given ability he has to make himself more accessible and useful to those who have Longing in their hearts to know the profound Truth of their existence here.
His ability and authority to lead others to permanent spiritual transformation and realization of the Self is evident in the many video blogs at abodeoftheheart.org, the posted experience shares, the documented statistics, and conversations with those who have served our mission the longest. You may also be interested in reading his spiritual autobiography, Vibration of Divine Consciousness.
The best way to find out who Sadguru Kedarji is, and how the power of Grace that he transmits at all times can impact your life for the better, is to spend some time in his company by attending any of the events that he leads.

More About His Background
He studied holistic medicine, acupressure, acupuncture, holistic nutrition, healing and wellness with pioneers of the whole life movement. Among his mentors in that field are Mischio Kushi, Aveline Kushi, Anne Marie Colbin and Victor Kulvinskas. Kedarji is also the creator of The Art of Inner Transformation, for those who want to adopt a spiritual lifestyle leading to permanent spiritual transformation.
While on a Jazz tour to India, he took interest in the human dignity and spiritual resilience of the spiritual masters he began to meet in his travels there. Kedarji then entered a long course of study with enlightened sages that culminated in his meeting his own Master.
Upon returning to New York City, his vision and perception of life had been altered forever. His eyes were now open to the Truth and he began to see the innocence in other people’s shortcomings, and to extend Love and Compassion to all, as was his Master’s wish.
All is the operative word here. While living in midtown Manhattan, Kedarji embarked upon a campaign to raise awareness of the importance of experiencing and expressing peace, love and human dignity in local communities. At that time, crime in midtown Manhattan was high. This resulted in Kedarji working with Senator Franz Leichter and Congresswoman Ruth Messenger to establish citizen block patrols in the midtown area that were highly successful in working with police to stop crime.
He became known for his curbside discussions with the very perpetrators of the crimes he fought against. In the style of Nelson Mandela, he encouraged criminals to embrace their own human dignity through the experience of peace, love and respect for the common good.
Refusing to be placed in any ‘box,’ Kedarji is equally at home in spiritual life, as with healing, well-being and the expanding movement toward increased social responsibility.
